‘In the process of attachment, there is pain. To avoid that pain, we try to cultivate detachment. And so we keep up this circle, which is always painful.’
This episode on Detachment has three sections.
The first extract (2:42) is from Krishnamurti’s fifth talk in Saanen 1982, and is titled: Detachment Is Just an Idea.
The second extract (21:35) is from the first talk in Bangalore 1971, and is titled: The Pursuit of Detachment.
The final extract in this episode (43:21) is from the first talk in Ojai 1949, and is titled: Where There Is Love, There Is No Question of Attachment or Detachment.
